Steven grew up in the Coalville area and has lived in Leicestershire most of his life. He is an experienced family lawyer, having acquired his law degree at Northumbria University and passing his Law Society Final Examination at the College of Law in Chester.
He qualified as a Solicitor in 1990. He has worked exclusively in the area of family law since then at firms in both the East and West Midlands. Steven is delighted to have joined the vibrant and enthusiastic team at Glynis Wright & Co.
Steven specialises in divorce, financial and property disputes (for married, unmarried and same sex couples), disputes involving children, domestic violence injunctions, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, separation and cohabitation agreements, step-parent adoptions and is a skilled and enthusiastic Court advocate.
Over many years in practice, Steven has represented a large number of “high net worth” clients, has acquired excellent negotiating skills and is committed to resolving family law disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner by adopting a practical and realistic approach. Steven is also committed to putting clients at their ease from the first meeting and explaining the law and procedure to them in clear, straightforward and practical language. Steven has gained a strong reputation in this area of law and prides himself on the level of positive post-case feedback he regularly receives from his clients.
When not at work, Steven is a committed amateur thespian, having acted in or directed over 40 plays and musicals in the Loughborough area and at The Little Theatre in Leicester. Steven is an avid supporter of Leicester City Football Club and is a keen, but not particularly talented, golfer.
