Florence knew from early on that she wanted to practice law, primarily as a result of family influence. She obtained an Upper Second Class (2.1) degree from the University of Liverpool, whilst also participating in extracurricular activities such as mooting and completing a marketing course. She thereafter went on to successfully complete her Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University.
Florence commenced her training to be a solicitor in January 2017 with a well-established Leicestershire based law firm. She qualified as a Solicitor in August 2018 having already built a solid foundation in family law during her training contract.
Florence joined Glynis Wright & Co in April 2019 and is thrilled to have the opportunity to work for a niche family practice which will enable her to develop her skills further. Florence has developed a wide knowledge in family law and is able to advise on all aspects of family law including separation and/or divorce, advice in connection with children arrangements and also financial aspects following a separation.
Florence is a member of Resolution and adopts Resolution’s Code of Practice into her own practice, encouraging parties to resolve their issues in the most amicable way possible. Florence understands that coping with separation is very difficult and therefore ensures that she deals with all matters in a sensitive manner. Florence strongly believes that clients are best served by reaching an agreement outside of Court proceedings and will recommend this approach wherever possible. However, some matters are not able to settle and Court proceedings become inevitable. If it is necessary to proceed to Court, then Florence will provide the necessary advice and support throughout the process
