Angela Maxfield joined the team at Glynis Wright & Co in January 2017 bringing with her over 20 years’ experience in family law.
During her career Angela has worked for large and medium-sized firms gaining knowledge and experience assisting and advising clients with a variety of different financial circumstances and difficulties arising as a result of the breakdown of a relationship.
Angela has advised and assisted clients who are or have been in heterosexual and same sex relationships, whether they are married, cohabiting or in civil partnerships. She has also advised clients who have been through gender reassignment and wished to retain their relationship status post that reassignment.
Angela has helped parents and grandparents seeking to make arrangements to have contact with their children/grandchildren and to maintain their relationships with those children following the breakdown of a relationship. Angela has also been able to advise clients who have wished to relocate overseas taking their children with them, assisting with applications to the court for permission to remove the children from the jurisdiction.
As a member of Resolution, Angela adopts the Resolution Code of Practice. This code encourages the resolution of issues in a constructive and non-confrontational manner, by agreement if possible. Where an agreement hasn’t been achieved Angela is experienced at guiding her clients through the Court procedures.
Angela is pleased to be a member of the team at Glynis Wright & Co developing her skills as a part of a niche family practice.
‘Angela, thank you so very much for your professional help and your support through all of this. I appreciated having you to guide me through and to reassure me that I was not being unreasonable, as my ex-husband would have had me believe.
I hope I do not need to call upon your services again, but if I do, I know I shall be in safe hands.’
