Sushma Kotecha - Family Law Specialist

Admitted January 1994 

Sushma obtained her law degree at the City of London University. Upon graduating she was committed to taking up a career within the legal sector and took the Law Society’s final exams at Guilford College of Law. Shortly after qualifying she began her training contract in her home town of Leicester at the Magistrates Court.   

Throughout her career Sushma has worked at various local practices and has gained invaluable experience in dealing with a wide range of clients who come from all walks of life. 

She gained resolution accredited family law specialist status in 2005 and took up post as Head of the Family Law Department at Astills solicitors in December 2006.  The resolution accredited scheme is designed to help clients who are facing a family breakdown to make an informed choice when deciding which lawyer to appoint.
